After a national search led by ALJP Consulting, American Repertory Theater at Harvard University (A.R.T.) has selected Kelvin Dinkins Jr., (He/Him/His) as the theater’s new Executive Director. He will begin co-Leadership of A.R.T. alongside Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director Diane Paulus on June 1, 2022.

Harvard University Provost Alan Garber and American Repertory Theater Chair Andy Ory announced today the appointment of Kelvin Dinkins, Jr., as the A.R.T.’s next executive director.

He will leave his post as general manager at Yale Rep to co-lead ART with artistic director Diane Paulus starting in June.

After an 11-month search Harvard University and the American Repertory Theater have appointed Kelvin Dinkins, Jr. as the American Repertory Theater’s new executive director.

The theater announced Tuesday that Kelvin Dinkins Jr., currently the general manager at Yale Rep and an assistant dean at Yale School of Drama, has been named executive director of the A.R.T.
