Thank you to YWCA Community Dialogues on Race!

The A.R.T would like to give a big thank you to all the facilitators and friends of YWCA Community Dialogues on Race who came to the theater last Sunday. Facilitators and friends, along with students from Beacon Academy, attended a matinee perfomance of The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess and stayed after the show for a discussion on race and the history of Porgy and Bess.  Many cast members were also in attendance (thanks, guys!).

YWCA Community Dialogues on Race is a program that works to bring people together from diverse backgrounds. Members of Community Dialogues participate in a 5-week program of discussions on race and ethnicity throughout the Boston area.
