The Lilypad Wanderers Make Their Debut!

We had an awesome time working with Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS) students to create a very special kyogen… what the intermission performances were called… for The Lily’s Revenge.

Major kudos to Bobby, Cora, Nathan, Yvonne and Jenny for a spirited and inspired performance of three scenes on the theme of marriage; these guys had been studying the themes of the play for weeks and really evoked many of the key concepts of the show in their devised work.  Shira, director of The Lily’s Revenge, and I worked with the students on adapting their classroom work to the world of the production, then they went forth and rocked the socks off the audience at the performance on October 27th.
