Welcome to the Hansel and Gretel Blog!

Hello, I’m Leslie Gehring, one of the dramaturgs working on Hansel and Gretel, and over the next two months, I’ll be blogging about the show. Rehearsal doesn’t start for another couple of weeks, but preparations for Hansel and Gretel are already in full swing.

We just finished our second workshop period on Sunday, and we’re now working on revising the script. The main source text for our production of Hansel and Gretel is the tale published by the brothers Grimm, but we’ve added plenty of our own special touches to it.
