Itinerary

MARCH 5—Arrive in London and check-in to your room at the five-star historic hotel, The Savoy. Take the afternoon to yourself to relax or explore the city on your own. In the evening, meet for an intimate group dinner together (and maybe a special guest or two) before heading over to the Adelphi Theatre to see Waitress, starring composer and Grammy-winner Sara Bareilles and Olivier and Tony-winner Gavin Creel. Following the performance, enjoy a special backstage experience with the cast and creative team. D

MARCH 6—After enjoying breakfast at The Savoy, take the morning to explore London and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon we’ll meet in South Bank and experience the new Meet Vincent van Gogh digital experience. This interactive once-in-a-lifetime experience – created by the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam – uses cutting edge audio-visual techniques to take visitors on an unforgettable journey in Van Gogh’s footsteps. Rather than presenting Vincent’s original artworks, Meet Vincent van Gogh is a highly immersive, comprehensive and emotional look into van Gogh’s creative process. After the exhibit, we’ll head back across the Thames for a cozy British and Mumbai-inspired dinner at Kricket Soho and participate in an informal Caryl Churchill dramaturgical discussion with A.R.T. Executive Producer Diane Borger. Our evening performance will be Caryl Churchill’s dazzling play, Far Away, about a world sliding into chaos, at Donmar Warehouse. Following the performance, grab a nightcap with the A.R.T. staff and perhaps a few surprise guests! B, D

MARCH 7—After enjoying breakfast at The Savoy, take the morning to explore London and enjoy lunch at your leisure. We’ll meet at the Harold Pinter Theatre for the matinee performance of Olivier Award-winner Conor McPherson’s stunning new adaptation of the Anton Chekhov masterpiece, Uncle Vanya, starring Toby Jones, Aimee Lou Wood, and Richard Armitage. Immediately following the performance, we’ll head to dinner in South London and then settle in for a double-bill of Samuel Beckett’s rarely seen short play Rough for Theatre II and Endgame at the Old Vic. Both performances star Alan Cumming and Daniel Radcliffe, along with Old Vic company members. B, D

MARCH 8—Check-out of The Savoy in the late morning to head home or onto the next leg of your journey. We know that saying goodbye to London is never easy! B
