Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992 Ticket Initiative

By working together we can meaningfully expand access to arts and theater experiences that serve to strengthen and activate our civil discourse and engagement.

Jonathan and Jeannie Lavine, Trustees of The Crimson Lion / Lavine Family Foundation

Help Us Expand Access to This Award-Winning Play

The A.R.T. will provide free and subsidized tickets to all twenty-nine performances of Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992 in August and September of 2022, with support from a lead gift from The Crimson Lion / Lavine Family Foundation. This includes:

  • 1,000 free tickets for public high school students, including for The Appetizer on September 23. Individual students can reserve tickets online, and groups of students can make a group request with Ticket Services.
  • 1,500 tickets priced at $5 available via A.R.T. community partners, local organizations, and to those who self-identify as benefiting from a subsidized ticket. Please contact Ticket Services at TicketServices@amrep.org or 617.547.8300 to purchase tickets.

This new ticket initiative is designed to help lower the economic barrier to attending theater, and activate civic engagement in young people, and underscore the importance of civilized dialogue in creating a more equitable society.

We invite you to join us in our efforts by making a tax-deductible gift in support of this initiative. Gifts of any size are greatly appreciated and can have a huge impact to help make A.R.T. a welcoming and accessible space for people of any identity, background, or ability.

Support the Initiative

Everyone in Greater Boston and beyond should engage with Anna Deavere Smith’s powerful play and participate in the timely conversations it inspires. We thank the generosity of the Crimson Lion / Lavine Family Foundation and the supporters who have joined them for helping us extend this bold invitation.

A.R.T. Executive Director Kelvin Dinkins, Jr.
