Cyclops: A Satyr Play is an audience-fueled performance event. At its heart is the subversive and witty satyr play by Euripides, a raucous story of prisoners and their masters. Shaking the dust off an ancient form, the audience encounters the classic text amid the flashing lights and booming beats of a modern dionysia. Director, James Blaszko, pumps up the satire in a production that brings the laughs as loud as it brings the bass.
