The Hypocrites (2016 MacArthur Award for Creative & Effective Institutions winners) return once again — with the final show in their G&S trilogy — to sail the ocean blue! Welcome aboard the H.M.S. Pinafore, Gilbert & Sullivan’s classic operetta. Captain Cat Coran tries to marry her son to the lofty Admiral Dame Jo-Anne, but he falls in love with a lowborn sailress. This zany, gender-bending adaptation features versions of all the well-known H.M.S. Pinafore songs including “I’m Called Little Buttercup”.

Please note that H.M.S. Pinafore has no fixed seats. You can physically move around the space with the actors, where there are surfaces on the set you can rest, but you may be asked to move during the performance.
