Live music and dance celebrate a story of love, throughout life.
“As the house lights go down, and the band queues up, the chills of excitement have already starting coursing through your body. When the lights slowly return, you’re welcomed into a different world, a pleasant break from your own – a world dreamt up by George Woods and narrated by songs from his band’s latest album ‘Heartbeat.'” – Emily Fromm, NeverBeenHeard.com
“Heartbeat: A Modern Dance Rock Concert” is thrilled to return to OBERON this September for its third Cambridge run. Produced by Boston musician George Woods and choreographer Jennifer Crowell-Kuhnberg the new show features over a dozen expertly written songs and dances. Performed live by the George Woods Band and a cast of 11 dancers, “Heartbeat” utilizes the full 360 degrees of the OBERON’s nightclub theatre to immerse the audience in a stunning life story full of drama and soulful love affairs.
There are early and late shows available and every show is followed by an awesome funk filled dance party with the George Woods Band. Come out and celebrate Life, Love, Music, and Dance.
