An advanced vaudeville studies show to benefit Last Hope K9 Rescue, majoring in alternative comedy and burlesque, with a minor in joke analysis and boob theory.
On Friday, September 5th, go Back to School without going into crippling student loan debt with The Steamy Bohemians and their cavalcade of naughty coeds, class clowns, and smarmy Nabokovian authority figures with bad boundaries. Relive the awkward wonders of institutionalized learning in sexy new ways that will reshape your childhood memories! You’ll smoke in the boys’ room, you’ll be hot for teacher, your underwear will be too tight, you’ll need to see the school nurse right away. You might even get detention. All profits will be donated to Last Hope K9 Rescue.

Last Hope K9 Rescue is an all-breed rescue dedicated to saving abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs from high-kill shelters throughout the United States. We don’t discriminate on the basis of age, pre-existing medical conditions, or breed. Why? Because every animal deserves to know love.
As the literal “last hope” of every animal we serve, we work methodically to place each of our dogs within a stable, loving environment that can act as either their forever home or the gateway to their forever home. We strive to ensure that all of our adoptions and foster placements are the optimal fit for everyone involved.
Last Hope also seeks to educate the communities in which we work about spay-and-neuter programs to help control dog over-population, a major cause of the countless strays across our country. Spaying or neutering your pet can help to stop the problem at its source. We promote animal welfare by supporting important initiatives that protect and give a voice to the voiceless.
Last Hope was established in March of 2012. Since our foundation, we have saved the lives of nearly 1,300 dogs and we could not do our work without amazing people like you! Please adopt, foster, donate, advocate and educate. You can make a difference!

The Steamy Bohemians
No, not “steaming” : Steamy! The Steamy Bohemians are Niki Luparelli and Lainey SchoolTree, two threateningly hot and talented bitches who joined forces to get wasted and make people piss themselves. With these noble goals at the forefront, this musical comedy duo has amazed and confused audiences with wit and sexuality and boobs since… well, for many many years now.
“Thwack together vaudevillian comic chops, astounding musicality, and oodles of quirky sex appeal and you’ve got the Steamy Bohemians, Boston’s very own darlings of debauchery. Part glam rock, part stand-up comedy, and all sass, steamy duo Lainey Schulbaum and Niki Luparelli seductively tickle audiences with songs like “My Love For You (The Mayonnaise Song),” “Second Cousin,” and “The Ballad of the Bastard,” which the ladies claim are inspired by “chaos, cultural discontent, and gender polarity. And weed.” Though their banter rivals Lucy and Ethel and their lyrics are borderline absurd, these broads offer more than just a kitschy hook. Both are classically trained sopranos, and Schulbaum’s guitar playing will rock your pretty little face off. Check out their debut album Technicolor Radio or, better yet, their live show Jerkus Circus.” – Boston Phoenix
“Fetchingly dizzy shtick. It’s sort of a musical Burns & Allen routine, only with way more boob fixation.” – Shaula Clark for the Boston Phoenix
Fonda Feeling is a wicked nerd with a love for all things circus. Trained in aerial acrobatics, contortion, hand balance, she strives to combine circus arts and burlesque in new and exciting ways. Like her on facebook for news and upcoming shows! facebook.com/furiousfondafeeling
Fem Bones
The trick with the treats, the headcase responsible for New England’s gorelesque troupe, The Slaughterhouse Sweethearts. Stitch poppin’, gravethrobbin’, scream queen sensation FEM BONES is a bloody burlesquer who does the nasty in Boston. Orginally a would-be ballerina from the filthy streets of New Orleans, she clawed, and crawled her way up to New England to cause trouble, stir up some spirits, and raise old dreams back from the dead by bringing gore, and chaos to the dance floor. Artist, Dancer, Monster Creator, and all around Performance Artist, check your morality, and decency at the door, and see what this Spookshow Baby is all about
Ginny Nightshade is as cute as a button on a straightjacket and joined the Boston burlesque scene in late 2012. With an extensive background in theater and dance she lights up the stage with a flair for the dramatic. She won the Top Banana award at Alterna-TEASE Festival 2014 with her troupe The Slaughterhouse Sweethearts. This curvy creep’s interests include: taxidermy, wine by the bottle, horror movies, puppies, and tantalizing audiences with her campy style. You may have seen her performing solo across New England or with her troupes: the horror burlesque troupe The Slaughterhouse Sweethearts and The Glitter Bombs, Boston’s strip hop troupe.

Raven Rose has been striking from the shadows to feast on the bones of the burlesque community for however many years one can before one is perceived as not young. A veteran of the Bitches of Destiny, she has appeared in the Slutcracker, Revenge of the Robot Battle Nuns, Dark and Stormy, Pop, Strange, My So Called Burlesque Show and a whole lot of other stuff we don’t have time to get into. She is supported by a boyfriend operating at peak beard and two beloved shelter dogs, Hank and Kyle, who insisted she appear here today.
Roxy Shake is a hillbilly cutie who’s halfway between a snuggle and a slap in the face! Having wowed ‘em in the finest cooch shows in Kentucky, this “southern belle-hound” tossed her glitter, her kitty cat, and a case of cheap bourbon in the backseat, cranked up the radio, and burned rubber for New England! She’s been bringing her bubbly-but-badass bounciness to Boston burlesque audiences and proving that you can take the girl out of Kentucky, but you can’t take the wildcat outta the girl. Try her, you’ll like her!
Jane Doe is a Boston-based burlesque performer and producer who’s leaving her bloody hand prints everywhere. She creates burlesque mayhem as a producer with Sparkletown Productions in Cambridge, MA and as a co-producer of Alterna-Tease, the New England Neo-Burlesque Festival. She’s also a co-founder of Bitches of Destiny as well as a member of The Glitter Bombs, and appropriately, The Bloodstains. Jane is obsessed blood, badassery, burlesque, and devising plans to combine the three.

Kid Vicious: is a tiny, tap dancing terror. She’s a trained dancer and a punk rocker. Vicious is a member of the Bloodstains, a Boston-based burlesque troupe infamous for their filth and blood-filled performances. When not performing, Kid Vicious likes to spend her time sipping margaritas in the company of cute boys and cats.
Non-Motivational Speaker Brian Longwell
“What the world needs more of are non-motivational speakers. Blokes in suits who tell you how to do it wrong every time, or how to cock up properly. Brian Longwell’s your chap with his primitive, hand drawn transparencies, and one-man brainstorming sessions.” The List
“Loved him to bits” BBC Radio
“Festival Top 10” London Times
Other American performers seemed to be directly keying on a sense of disappointment with the Bush administration’s foreign policy; the Boston-area comedian Brian Longwell scored points with critics for his low-tech, mild-mannered satire which likened American democracy to a pizza shop where voters leave messages on “an answering machine that no one ever listens to.” NY Times
Joe Howard, Magician
Since 1978 Joe has been dragging his trunkful of fun all over New England and beyond, bringing smiles and laughs to audiences of all ages. His quick hands and quick wit make for a truly entertaining and magical experience.
Ken Reid, Comedian
Ken’s unique and very personal story telling style has gained him a loyal fan base in the area. Using photos, video clips, and his own brand of storytelling Ken has written and performed four one man shows. His first show “Ken Reid’s Cusack Attack” was a sold out affair at the Boston Center for the Arts. His second show “Very Special Episode: Portrait of a Pop Culture Victim” was also a sell out in March of 2008. “Music to My Years” from October 2009 was widely praised and was the featured pick on Boston.com. His most recent show was “Shirt Tales” from May 201
Ken has toured as the opening act for Todd Barry during Barry’s “Substantial Tour of New England”, was chosen by Eugene Mirman as the opening act at Mirman’s record release show, opened for Patton Oswalt at the Wilbur Theater and Northeastern University, opened for Bob Saget during his 2011 New England Summer shows, and performed a series of “live talk show” appearances with Jonathan Katz. Ken was also nominated by the Boston Phoenix as Best Comedian in Boston 2010 and 2012.
