Plugged In presents the Second Annual Battle of the Corporate Bands, a concert and fundraiser to benefit Plugged In Teen Band Program. Watch while bands sponsored by local businesses vie for votes from our celebrity judges, for amazing prizes, and most of all for the love of the audience! Featuring bands from Oracle, Harmonix, Stephanie’s on Main and others. Cheer on your favorites and make a difference in the life of a young musician at the same time!
Plugged In Teen Band Program is a local non-profit organization dedicated to showing young musicians how to make positive social change through music. Plugged In provides students with music instruction, song-writing workshops, and access to dozens of community performances all with a focus on social responsibility. Additionally, more than 300 students participate in the production of 3 annual benefit concerts at which Plugged In musicians perform to raise money for charitable organizations chosen by the students. Plugged In provides a community for young artists looking for a sense of belonging, a safe place to express themselves and an ego free, competition free environment in which they can use their creative talents to help others.
