Join A.R.T. and The Brattle Theatre for a double feature of two films highlighting the magic of train travel: the 1942 screwball comedy The Palm Beach Story and Wes Anderson’s The Darjeeling Limited.

Co-presented with The Brattle, which has been showing the best in classic, cutting edge, foreign, and arthouse films since 1953.

Nutty wife Colbert up and leaves her husband and heads to Palm Beach by train to get a divorce, with the jilted hubby hot on her trail. Mistaken identity, a loopy millionaire, the meddling of the boisterous “Ale and Quail Club,” and an inexplicable pair of twins follow as well. Presented in 35mm.
