Six Characters In Search of an Author is a work about six strange characters abandoned by their author, who suddenly materialize in a theatre where a play is being rehearsed by a director and a group of actors. In Brustein’s version, the action takes place during a rehearsal of the American Repertory Theatre company at the Loeb Drama center.
