MBTA Subway: Take the Red Line to Porter. Exit the station and head north on Massachusetts Ave. to the Temple, less than a 5-minute walk.
MBTA Commuter Rail: Take the Fitchburg Line to Porter. Exit the station and head north on Massachusetts Ave. to the Temple, less than a 5-minute walk.
MBTA Bus: Take the 77, 83, or 96 bus to Massachusetts Ave. at Davenport St. (northbound) or Massachusetts Ave. opposite Beech St. (southbound).
Parking
There is no parking at the Masonic Temple and limited non-residential street parking in the immediate vicinity. Paid public parking is available at the University Hall parking lot with access from Roseland St., less than a 10-minute walk from the venue.
For performances at the Masonic Temple, A.R.T. will offer discount validation for University Place Garage and the Charles Square Garage in Harvard Square. To obtain discount validation, please visit the Will Call before the performance.
Accessibility
Parking: There is no parking at the Masonic Temple. There are three reserved accessible street spaces in the immediate vicinity of the Masonic Temple located at approximately 1971 Massachusetts Ave., 1972 Massachusetts Ave., and 6 Porter Rd. There are also reserved accessible spots at the University Hall parking lot (details above).
Entrance and Performance Space: The main entrance of the Masonic Temple is five steps up from ground level, with an additional three steps once inside. The performance space is located one flight of stairs down from the first floor. The accessible entrance is located on the right side of the building through the private parking lot. There is a stair lift available to take down to the performance space from the accessible entrance. Please note that guests will be responsible for transferring in and out of the stair lift.
Seating: The first two rows of seats are on ground level. Some of these seats will be reserved for patrons with access needs. (Please make a note when ordering your tickets or contact Ticket Services to use one of these seats.)
Restrooms: A wheelchair-accessible restroom is available in the lobby of the Porter Square Hotel next door. An usher will direct you.
