BIOGRAPHY

Anthony Cistaro

Anthony Cistaro has appeared on the Loeb stage as Anthony the ASM in Six Characters in Search of an Author, Durandarte in The King Stag, and A Police Officer in Tartuffe. He is a graduate of the American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theater Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University, where he was seen in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Zeus Stories; the American premiere of Michel Vinaver's Overboard, directed by François Rochaix; and Brecht's The Wedding, directed by Robert Scanlan. He also played Adam Adam in the West Coast premiere of Tom Stoppard's Rough Crossing. With the World Theatre Company he played Vanek in A Private View, acted in three Vaclav Havel one-act plays, and also appeared in Playing With Fire, The Time of Your Life, and Bedtime Story. Anthony is currently appearing in the new TNT series Witchblade. Other television credits include a recurring role on Cheers (as Henri, the Frenchman) and guest appearances on Seinfeld, Bob, and The Nanny, among others.
